Advanced Skilled Lab
NICE accommodates a state of the art advanced skill lab. This lab is a simulated environment of a multidisciplinary ICU meeting international standards of a tertiary care hospital. The objective of the lab is to provide life-like learning experiences to the students about critical care aspects required in a hospital.
This learning experience equips the students to work confidently in any healthcare setting anywhere in the world, especially students who do not get exposed to such facilities during their course.
The lab is equipped with high, medium, and low fidelity mannequins to teach nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU. Apart from this, all standard care guidelines of critical care, and infection control practices are displayed in the lab for easy learning.
