NMC Regulations In Language Proficiency

The Council considered proposals in the meeting scheduled for 28th September 2022.

What are the two proposals ?

1) The clubbing score period may be changed from the current 6 months to 12 months. This means nurses can now write and club their best scores, in one year. So they get more time to prepare and give their next best try for OET or IELTS.

2) Employer will be able to give supporting evidence of language proficiency.
