In a new initiative to promote the movement of immigrant nurses to Newfoundland and Labrador, the provincial government has decided to open a recruitment office in Kerala, India. According to the latest update, NORKA Roots “recruitment desk” is to be managed and operated by government officials.
Mr. Rahul Girijappan (Registered nurse & Director of critical care services of the province) visited NORKA Roots, Kerala Nursing Council, Govt Nursing College, and Nice Academy in Kerala. The focus is to persuade nurses and convince them that the province is the best destination for immigrants.
Kerala has reputed multispeciality hospitals and nursing institutions which run with qualified faculties, who train nurses to perform critical thinking and evidence-based practice in the multi-disciplinary clinical settings.
